mousesports defeat Valiance to win DreamHack Tours

In the grand final of DreamHack Open Tours MOUZ took down Valiance 2-0 (Train 16-12, Mirage 16-11) to win their first LAN event.
MOUZ decided to go for an A split on the pistol round on Train, which worked out perfectly and gave the European side the 3-0 lead on their map pick. Valiance opted for a double AWP setup early, getting the snipers on Otto "ottoNd" Sihvo and Rokas "EspiranTo" Milasauskas, which worked wonders for them, allowing them to stabilize on the favored side of the map.
Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač clutched a 1v1 against Robin "ropz" Kool to make the score 7-3, looking good to end the half with a big lead, but David "frozen" Čerňanský and ropz then activate, being pivotal in their team breaking out on the A bombsite and securing rounds (8-7).
The five-round streak from MOUZ was stopped immediately after the switch, as Valiance were successful in attacking the A bombsite, but MOUZ struck back as soon as they got rifles in their hands, taking back the lead. The back and forth continued until Özgür "woxic" Eker picked up four frags and an assist in quick succession to salvage a 2v5 and push MOUZ over the finish line on Train, the final score being 16-12

Shots from Nemanja "nexa" Isaković's P250 rang true during the Mirage pistol round as the in-game leader found three kills, but Valiance wasn't able to get on the board due to Chris "chrisJ" de Jong sticking the defuse. MOUZ did fumble in the subsequent anti-eco before striking back with their own force to get the hold of the early momentum (4-1).
ottoNd stepped up to get Valiance their second round on the board, but the majorly Serbian side struggled to find any consistency and tie rounds together, seeing MOUZ finish it with a comfortable lead, 10-5.
Valiance opened up their CT half by winning the pistol, but ropz's triple on B won the first buy for his team and MOUZ got back on track swiftly. The European sides fast site hits were successful until the point they got a 13-7 lead, but they had to rethink their approach after hitting a defensive wall four rounds in a row (13-11).
A change of tempo worked out for Finn "karrigan" Andersen and co., who then finished the game by hitting the A bombsite twice, making the score 16-11, 2-0 for the series.
